HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA.- The Randolph men's lacrosse team opened its conference schedule on as the WildCats faced Hampden-Syndey. The Tigers defeated the WildCats 19-1.
Michael Baldwin (Culpepper, Va./Liberty HS) scored Randolph's only goal off an assist from Chase Callan (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) with 5:33 remaining in the fourth quarter. It was Baldwin's team-leading 22nd goal of the season and Callan's team-leading 15th assist.
Nathan Pradachith (Alexandria, Va./Edison HS) picked up seven groundballs and was 10-of-20 on faceoffs. Kalon Ross (Landover, Md./Central HS) scooped up five groundballs and caused three turnovers.
Adam Ulffers (Greenville, N.C./J.H. Rose HS) stopped eight shots in the cage for Randolph. He picked up five groundballs.
Randolph returns to the field next Wednesday as it travels to Guilford. Game time from Greensboro is at 6:00 p.m.
