LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team hosted Ferrum in an ODAC match on Wednesday afternoon. The WildCats defeated the Panthers 9-0.

The WIldCats even their overall record at 2-2 and pick up their first win in conference play to move to 1-1.

First and third doubles both went 8-0 in Randolph's favor. At second doubles, Noura Elkhansa (Charleston, W.V./George Washington) and Gianna Cabrera (Portsmouth, Va.) dropped two games but ultimately defeated Morgan Hundley and Mary Mason 8-2.

Lena Kersten (Bonn, Germany) easily won her first singles match 6-0, 6-0 as did Maddie Mills (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) at fourth singles. Elkhansa dropped one game in the first set and won 6-1, 6-0 over Gabby Mendoza at third singles. Molly NcNair (New South Wales, Australia/Figtree) and Amanda Jagdeo (South Ozone Park, NY/Flushing HS) won their respective matches 6-1, 6-0. Sabrina Dickerson (Brookneal, Va.) was a 6-3, 6-0 winner over Hannah Huffman.

Randolph hosts William Peace this Saturday. The match starts at 10:30 am.
