LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's lacrosse team hosted the University of Hartford on Wednesday afternoon at WildCat Stadium. The Hawks defeated the WildCats 12-0.
John Furino led Hartford with four goals. Aidan Kemp scored three times. Cam James picked up 10 groundballs.
Randolph totaled 16 shots on the afternoon compared to 39 from Hartford.
Ethan Caldwell (Santa Fe, N.M./Santa Fe Prep School),
Sean Landis (Williamsburg, Va./Lafayette), and
Zach Miller (Corpus Christi, Texas/Fork Union Military Academy) all had three shots for the 'Cats.
Adam Ullfers (Greenville, N.C./J.H. Rose) led in groundball pickups with three. He stopped 13 shots in the cage.
The WildCats are idle until March 25 when they begin conference play against Randolph Macon. Game time is at 4:00 p.m.
