ASHVILLE, N.C.- The Randolph men's lacrosse team traveled down to Warren Wilson College on Saturday to play the Owls. The WildCats picked up their first win of the season as they defeated Warren Wilson 14-4.

The WildCats never trailed as they led 4-0 at the end of the first quarter. Randolph pulled away in the third as they outscored the Owls 7-1 in the period.

Zach Miller (Corpus Christi, Texas/Fork Union Military Academy) led with four goals on the afternoon. Ethan Caldwell (Santa Fe, N.M./Santa Fe Prep School) and Jack Dolan (Dumfries, Va./Potomac) both added three goals each. Kent Snoddy (Palmyra, Va./Fluvanna County) added a pair of scores. Leyton Brightly (Spotsylvania, Va./James Monroe) and Tyler Johnson (Alexandria, Va./Thomas Edison) both scored once.

Tom Stahler (Cape May Court House, N.J./Middle Township) led with eight groundballs. Miller picked up six groundballs. Kyle Grundy (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) and Chad Melton (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal) both had four groundballs.

William Olichney (Lynchburg, Va.) stopped four shots in the cage for the 'Cats.

The WildCats return to Old Dominion Athletic Conference play on Saturday as they host Shenandoah. Game time is at 1:00 p.m.
