Box Score LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's tennis team hosted Johnson and Wales (N.C.) on Saturday afternoon. The WildCats came away winners on the day as they won 7-0.
Nico Alvarado (Santiago, Chile/Colegio Olimpo) and Alex Kulvivat (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) were 8-1 victors at first doubles over Jonathan Millwood and Samuel Wilders. Colby Cook (Smithfield, Va./Smithfield) and Jose Merhej (Fairfax, Va./Oakton) blanked Devonte Hill and James Hegeboom 8-0.
Alvarado knocked off Millwood 6-3, 6-1 at first singles. Kulvivat was a 6-0, 6-2 winner at second singles over Wilder. Bhuvan Ambekallu (Karnataka, India/Bethan High) was a straight set winner over Hill 6-0, 6-0. Cook and Merhej both won their respective singles matches by scores of 6-0, 6-0.
The WildCats travel to Pfieffer on Sunday afternoon. The start of the match is 1:00 p.m.
