Men’s Swimming Dominates Ferrum

Sam Hey won three events for Randolph

LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's swimming hosted Ferrum in the final regular season dual meet. The WildCats came out on top of the Panthers 132-81.

Sam Hey took three events for the WIldCats on the night. He was first in the 100 yard breaststroke in a time of 1:03.37. He touched the wall first in the 200 yard breaststroke in 2:17.93. He swam unopposed in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:10.06.

Daniel Allee (Alexandria, Va./Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School) also won three events. He was the top swimmer in the 50 yard free with a time of 24.03. He had a sub-one minute time of 55.58 in the 100 yard free. He was unopposed in the 100 yard fly with a time of 1:01.03.

Josh Roberts (Richmond, Va.) was the only swimmer in the 1000 yard free as he posted a time of 11:22.61. Roberts swam a time of 1:01.81in the 100 yard backstroke. He was also the lone swimmer in the 200 yard back as he swam in a time of 2:15.

The WildCats now prepare for the ODAC Championships next month. Day 1 is February 10 in Greensboro, N.C.
