LYNCHBURG, Va.- After a two-week layoff, the Randolph men's lacrosse team returned to action on Sunday as it hosted Randolph-Macon. The Yellow Jackets came out on the winning end as they defeated the WildCats 26-4.
Randolph received goals from four different players. Jake Helsley (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal) scored once and assisted on two other goals for a three-point afternoon. Jack Dolan (Dumfries, Va./Potomac) tallied a goal and an assist. Tom Stahler (Cape May Court House, NJ/Middle Township) scored his first collegiate goal. Matthew Piascik (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal School) scored the 'Cats fourth goal of the game on a man-up opportunity.
The WildCats travel to Lexington on to take on Washington and Lee on Thursday. Game time will be at 7:00 p.m.
