LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team hosted Roanoke in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match on Saturday afternoon. The Maroons won 7-0.

The pair of Cassidy Bell (Monroe, Va./Amherst County) and Heather Whetzel (Grottoes, Va./Harrisonburg) took one game in their match against Margriet Bostoen and Olivia Maccluen. Zu Elkhansa (Charleston, W.V./George Washington) and Bailey Livingston (Evengton, Va.) lost to Lucy Collins and Halle Fernstrum 8-0.

Elkhansa won three games in her first singles battle against Collins in the first set but fell 6-3 and lost 6-0 in the second set. Whetzel dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision to Fernstrum at second singles. Bell was defeated by Maccluen 6-0, 6-2 at fourth singles.

The WildCats host Mary Baldwin tomorrow afternoon. The match will start at 2:00 p.m.
