HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va.- The Randolph men's swimming team competed against Hampden-Sydney in a dual meet on Friday evening. The Tigers had the upper hand in the meet as they won 118-47 over the WildCats.
Sam Hey won a pair of events to lead Randolph. He took first in the 200 meter IM with a time of 2:26.27. Hey also touched the wall first in the 100 meter breaststroke in 1:13.55.
Josh Roberts (Chesapeake, VA.) swam unopposed in the 800 meter freestyle. His time in the seven was 11:33.12. He also had a second place finish in the 100 backstroke with a final time of 1:10.34.
Dan Allee (Alexandria, Va./Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School) placed second in the 200 meter free with a time of 2:26.82.
The 400 meter relay team of Roberts, Hey, Allee, and Kilian Lewis were the runners-up as they swam a time of 4:34.21.
The WildCats travel to Bridgewater next Saturday for a dual meet with the Eagles. Start time will be 1:00 p.m.
