SPARTANBURG, S.C.- The Randolph men's cross country team ran at the NCAA South/Southeast Regionals on the Milliken Research Center course. The WildCats placed 18th as a team which represented their best finish in school history.
Tanner Cochran (Cumberland, Va./Cumberland) led the way for Randolph with the top time. He finished 66th overall in a time of 27:56.3 which was a lifetime best for him. It is also the fifth-fastest time in program history.
Cody Thompson (Dunnellon, Fla./Crystal River) was the next WildCat to cross the finish line as he came in 75th with a time of 28:12.9. Alex Dye (Honaker, Va./Honaker) improved on his time from the ODAC Championships as he crossed the line in 29:14.6. Also improving their times from two weeks ago were Luken Mason (Stanton, Va.) (29:26.7) and Aaron Scott (Woodbridge, Va./Colgan) (30:52.7).
