Men’s Swimming Opens Season at Emory Henry

EMORY, Va.- The Randolph men's swimming team finally returned to competition on Saturday as they went up against host Emory and Henry and visiting Warren Wilson. While the WildCats fell to the Wasps 155-32, they were able to outscore the Owls 78-51.

There was one first place finish recorded on the day for the 'Cats. That came from Sam Hey who had a winning time of 1:14.20 in the 100m breaststroke.

Killian Lewis placed third for Randolph in the 50m free as he touched the wall in a time of 27.98. Lewis was also fourth in the 100m free with a time of 1:05.56.

Josh Roberts was third in the 100m backstroke with a final time of 1:10.84. He was also third in the 800m free with a time of 11:25.34.

The 200m medley relay team of Roberts, Hey, Dan Allee, and Lewis came in second place. The quartet finished in a time of 2:03.76.

The WildCats return to action on October 29 as they travel to Ferrum for a dual meet. Start time will be at 5:00 p.m.
