Box Score

BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- A 64-54 decision went the way of Randolph today in men's basketball action, as the WildCats took down Bridgewater.

Randolph has now won at least 10 games in six straight seasons.

The team fell behind early, as Bridgewater took a 18-13 lead in the first 8:41 of this afternoon's tilt.

Over the next 8:32, however, Randolph did not allow Bridgewater to score, using a 16-0 run to take a lead it would never relinquish.

In that span, junior Gordon Rogo scored six points, junior Zach Desgain added five, junior Evan Horn hit a three and junior Seth Wimbish earned two.

Continuing their hot shooting, the WildCats hit 6-of-11 threes in the first half to take a 32-24 edge into the break.

In the second half, Bridgewater cut into Randolph's lead multiple times, but could never get within a single possession.

Finally pulling within four, Bridgewater couldn't make a final surge as Randolph scored the next eight points.

Junior Jason Eddie hit a free throw and a three in that span, with Desgain and Horn each hitting two free throws.

Randolph nailed its free throws down the stretch to maintain the lead and close out a third straight win.

The WildCats were 21-of-26 from the line in the second half and finished with 25 made from the charity stripe on the day, which is the fourth-most in team history.

Desgain led the way with 18 points and Wimbish added 17. Rogo had a dozen points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Defensively, the team held the ODAC's leading scorer, Ed Reddick, to just 3-of-10 shooting for nine points.

The WildCats host Guilford on Wednesday night, seeking to continue their winning streak.
