On Wednesday, Randolph earned a 63-62 in a frantic finish to
move to 2-1 in ODAC
play.

Shiflett (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry) is tops
in the ODAC in field goal percentage.
About the Marlins:
After starting 7-0, VWC reached No. 6 in the nation. The team
has lost three of the last five however, falling to ODAC foe
Bridgewater last time out.
Virginia Wesleyan has had its share of close games as well,
playing in four overtimes in three games over the last five
contests.
DJ Woodmore is second in the league in scoring and three point
percentage. Colby Heard is third in field goal
percentage. Sedric Nady is third in assists.
About the matchup:
VWC has won 10 of the 11 all-time matchups between these two
teams.
In 2011, Randolph earned a 80-76 victory in the ODAC semifinal
for its lone win against the Marlins.
Last year, the Marlins defeated the WildCats in two close
competitions. The first contest, in Norfolk, ended Randolph's
record-setting 13-0 start. The second came in the ODAC
semifinal.
WildCat to watch:
Sophomore Seth
Wimbish (Fairdale, W.V./Liberty) leads the ODAC
in three point percentage, hitting on half of his 30 attempts from
long range.
After averaging 8.2 minutes over the first five games of the
season, he has seen a significant increase in playing time, and now
average more than double that.
He has hit on multiple threes in three straight games as
well.
