At the ODAC Championships,  Chaffins was 2 cm off a new school record as she jumped 10.57 meters in the Triple Jump for a new lifetime best. She also had a new personal best in the high jump of 1.53 meters. Chaffins was a part of the 4x400 relay that ran 4:31.03. Overall, she garnered 10.5 points for the WildCats.
