Russell had a stellar performance at the 2026 ODAC Outdoor T&F Championships over the weekend. She totaled 16 points for the WildCats in which she placed sixth in the 100m finals with a school record time of 12.34. Her 200m prelim time set a new school record of 25.39 to qualify her to finals, where she took fifth overall. Russell was also a member of both relays that scored points for the WildCats. She anchored the 4x100m relay to a fifth place finish in a season-best time of 49.03 and had an explosive second-leg run on the 4x400m relay to put the team on the podium in third place with a season-best time of 4:10.34.
