At the Builder Invitational, Overstreet came in First Place in the 149-weight class. After receiving a bye in the Championship First Round, Overstreet won his Second Round match by fall in a time of three minutes over Eduard Breso from East Carolina University. He then won in sudden victory over Andrew Brevot from RPI in the Quarterfinals, won by decision over Amari Williams from Apprentice in the Semifinals, and then won by decision in the 1st place match over Kenneth Lambert from Clemson. For his efforts, he was named the ODAC Lighter Weight Wrestler of the Week.
