Cabrera was 10-26 shooting in two games last week but made her mark on the free throw line as she was a combined 10-14 including going 9-of-12 from the charity stripe in Saturday’s 65-62 victory over EMU. In that victory over the Royals, she made the game-tying layup as time expired to force overtime and then made three free throws to being the extra period. She also stole the inbounds pass at the end of overtime to secure the win for the WildCats. On the week, she totaled seven rebounds, nine assists, and eight steals. Cabrera scored 15 points against Lynchburg and led the WildCats with 16 points in the victory over EMU.
