Phillips-McLoyd scored a career-high 38 points on 11-of-16 shooting as the men's basketball team defeated Brevard 101-93 in overtime in their season opener last Saturday. He tied the WildCat game record for points and was named the ODAC Men's Basketball Offensive Athlete of the Week.
