WINCHESTER, Va. – The Randolph College women's cross country team competed in the Hornet Harrier Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University on Saturday morning.
Randolph competed in the five-kilometer race where Leo Galopin (Rye Brook, N.Y./Ethel Walker) clocked in the fastest time for the WildCats. The junior completed the race in a time of 25:12.0 to finish 71st overall out of the 111 runners in the field.
Ermela Wurgesa (Clarksburg, Md./Clarksburg) was the second Randolph runner to cross the finish line, locking down a time of 27:45.7 while Erin Schriever (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) rounded out the Randolph harriers with a time of 28:50.5.
The WildCats are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 29 when they compete at the Greensboro Invitational.
