2018-2019: Primarily played at No. 4 singles where she fashioned a 2-8 record...finished the season with a 7-12 doubles record...consistent No. 2 doubles player...frequently teammed up with Sarah Mueller where the pair went 2-2 at No. 2 doubles...also partnered with Keyu Jin at the No. 1 spot on several occasions, going 2-3...collected one win at No. 3 doubles with Ranita Opoku-Sarfo. 

2017-2018: Primarily played at No. 4 singles and at No. 2 doubles...posted a 7-7 singles record, going 5-5 at No. 4...collected one win at No. 5 singles and one loss at No. 3 singles...fashioned a doubles record of 10-4...primarily played No. 2 doubles with Ashley Schmitz...the duo concluded the season with a 6-4 record...played one match at No. 1 doubles with Keyu Jin and won.

2016-2017: Had a very successful first season, despite battling through some injuries…started the season playing five singles and three doubles…stopped playing doubles over the last month to focus on singles play…won five times in singles, including finishing ODAC play with a 4-3 record…added five wins in doubles, three in dual matches (two with Samantha Dickerson and one with Jenna Sweet) and two in the WildCat Fall Invitational with Ashley Schmitz…will look to take on a larger role as a sophomore.

Previous: Played four years of tennis for Severna Park High School…was a captain as a senior for the Falcons and coach Jessica Goodman…highly distinguished player…won the sportsmanship award…was a three-time county champion, a two-time regional champion, and qualified twice for the state championship…was named the Ann Arundel County Tennis Player of the Year.

Personal: Daughter of Tom and Elizabeth Appel…has one younger sister, Grace…also played golf in high school, where she captained the team for two years…was a member of the Spanish National Honor Society.
