LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's lacrosse team did not have to travel far as the WildCats went across town to face Lynchburg. The Hornets defeated the 'Cats by the score of 19-1.
LC held Randolph to six total shots on the night. Hannah Bradley (Wye Mills, Md./Saints Peter and Paul) had two of the WildCats' shots and the only goal that came with under 10 minutes remaining in the second half. Sarah Perry (Rocky Mount, Va./Franklin County) had the assist.
Perry also led the WildCats with three groundball pickups and four caused turnovers. Chrissy Shackleford (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) had four saves in goal.
Randolph concludes its four-game road trip on Saturday as it travels to Roanoke. Game time will be at 11:00 a.m.
