Each week, the Randolph College athletics department showcases a question and answer with our WildCat of the Week. This week is a senior pitcher from the softball team Gracyn Allen-Ingle.
Allen-Ingle was the hero for the WildCats in the second game of their doubleheader against Wilson on Saturday. In the circle, she went the distance with seven innings pitched, three runs given up on three hits, one walk, and five strikeouts as Randolph defeated the Phoenix 6-3. At the plate, she was 2-for-3 with two doubles and a run batted in. On the week, Allen-Ingle hit 4-for-7 and struck out 12 batters in three games.
