Equestrian Reserve High Point Champion at Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, Va.- The Randolph equestrian team continued its strong start to the season as it was the Reserve High Point team at Bridgewater. The WildCats accumulated 29 points as Washington and Lee was the overall winner with 32 points. Randolph was the only team to have points in every division.

Molly McLaughlin Owings, Md./Northern was the Reserve High Point Rider. She won the Fences class and was fifth in the Intermediate Flat.

Katie Brown (Winchester, Va./James Wood) was second in the Walk Trot. Michelle Smith (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) was second in the Novice Flat and also was fifth in Over Fences. Kirby Tidmore (Nashville, Tenn.) had a second place finish in Over Fences and was also fifth in Open Flat.

Gillian Golda (Butler, N.J./Butler) came in fourth in the Beginner Walk Trot Canter. Abby Carpenter (Danville, Va./George Washington) was sixth in Advanced Walk Trot Canter. Taylor Price placed sixth in Novice Flat and had a fifth place result in Over Fences.

Randolph hosts an IHSA show next Saturday at the Riding Center.
