HARRISBURG, Pa. – Randolph junior Abby Carpenter (Danville, Va./George Washington) competed in the Individual Walk Trot Equitation on the Flat on Friday afternoon at the 51st Annual Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) National Horse Show held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. Carpenter had a strong showing as she came in sixth place.

This was Carpenter's first time competing on the national stage. On Thursday, teammates Caroline Houston (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) and Kirby Tidmore (Nashville, Tenn.) also made their first national appearance as Houston participated in Novice over Fences and Tidmore in Novice on Flat. Houston was fifth and Tidmore earned Honorable Mention.

All three riders return next year for the WildCats. Houston and Tidmore were part of this year's ODAC Champion team and will look to make Randolph repeat next season.
