Randolph Equestrian Competes at Lynchburg Show

Randolph tied for first with the University of Virginia.

LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph Equestrian team competed at the Lynchburg Intercollegiate Horse Show Association show on Saturday. The WildCats performed well and were the Reserve Champions in the eight-team event with a total of 34 points that was just behind overall winner University of Virginia's 36 points.

Randolph had four blue-ribbon performances on the day. Placing first were Carly Stirewalt in Intermediate Flat, Kirby Tidmore (Prosper, Texas) in the Novice Flat, Charlotte Hudson in the Walk Trot, and Kate Pizzini (Montgomery Village, Md./Long Beach) in Beginner Walk Trot Canter. For Hudson it was the first win in her IHSA career.

Madeline Davis (Troy, Ohio/Miami East) was second in the Open Flat. She also had a fourth place finish in the Intermediate Fences.

Deborah Muskatel (Bethesda, Md./Walter Johnson) was second in the Advanced Walk Trot Canter. Charlote Hudson was third in Novice Flat. Molly McLaughlin (Owings Mills, Md./Northern) was fifth in novice fences.

Randolph is idle until December 2 when its competes at the Holiday Tournament of Champions.
