GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Randolph College men's and women's cross country teams participated in the 34th Annual Greensboro XC Invitational on Saturday at Hagan Stone Park. The men placed 10th out of 15 teams in the men's college division while the women did not receive a team score in the women's college division.
Jermayne Waller finished first for the WildCats, completing the eight-kilometer course in 30:19.60. Alex Clem (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) was the second Randolph runner to cross the finish line, clocking in at 30:44.76.
On the women's team, Sophia Dill (Glencoe, N.C./Western Alamance) and Liz Bearisto (Bowie, Md./Bowie) were the lone WildCats to complete the five-kilometer course. Dill clocked in at 24:04.98 while Bearisto finished in 25:39.63.
The WildCats will take some time off before returning to compete in the Queen City Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. on Friday, Oct. 13.
