Rama and Clem to Compete at Regionals

LYNCHBURG, VA – For the third time under Head Coach Bill Cooper, the Randolph College cross country teams will send runners to the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championships.  This year's race will be run at Berry College in Mount Berry, GA.

Taylor Rama will represent the WildCats women's team at 10 a.m., while Alex Clem will represent the men at 11 a.m.  Both have been the top runners for their respective teams throughout the season.  Each has set new career marks, while cracking the top 10 at different distances of the program record books.

The two improved greatly on last year's times in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships.  Both moved up the standings, earning the right to go to South/Southeast Regionals.  At the meet, teams from Virginia to Texas and everywhere in between will be in attendance.  It should provide for a great race for all of those involved.

Berry College has over 27,000 acres of land, and the courses will weave through large campus, with the start and finish coming at the Ford Complex.

There will be live stats for the race and then video of the award ceremony starting at noon.  The links are http://www.ptgrouponline.com/Live/2016/Berry/NCAA-D3-XC/ and https://portal.stretchinternet.com/berry/
