2018-2019: (Indoor) - Mainly competed in the high jump...best mark came at the Bast-Cregger Invite where he cleared a height of 1.68m. (Outdoor) - Best performance in the javelin came at the W&L Carnival where he threw a mark of 41.38m...recorded a season-best mark of 5.77m in the long jump and a triple jump mark of 12.13m at the WildCat Invite. 

2017-2018: (Indoor) - Focused on high jump during the season ... had a career-high 5'8.75" at VMI Winter Relays ... competed in triple jump at Bast-Cregger Invitational and had a measure of 37'4.5" for new personal best ... also had a long jump mark of 16'7". (Outdoor) - Focused on high jump and javelin ... topped his previous mark at ODAC Championships with 5'10" clearance in high jump ... had a career-best javelin throw of 146'11" at Battleground Relays.

2016-2017: (Indoor) – Competed in all of the jumps in his first season, but focused mainly on the high jump…best of 17’7.5” in the long jump came at the Bast-Cregger Invitational…also had a triple jump of 37’1.25” at the same meet…posted a best of 5’7” in the high jump twice…second time was at ODAC Championships where he finished eighth for a point. (Outdoor) – Focused on the high jump and javelin during the outdoor season…finished in the top-nine in the high jump in all but two meets…took fifth at the WildCat Invitational…set a career-best at the ODAC Championships where he cleared 5’9.75”…earned points as he finished sixth…set a best in the javelin at the WildCat Invitational with a throw of 124’3”, which was good for third.

Previous: Competed on the track and field team at Galax High School for three years…took part in the long, triple, and high jumps for the team…served as a captain for one year for Coach Stoneman…helped the Maroon Tide win the 2016 Conference 1A title.

Personal: Son of James and Joyce Davis...is the youngest of five: Alex, Brittney, Andrew, and Chris…was the senior class treasurer in high school…played basketball for one season in high school.
