Men’s Track and Field Concludes Competition at VMI Winter Relays

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Randolph College men's track and field team concluded the second and final day of competition at the VMI Winter Relays held on Saturday at the Virginia Military Institute. 

In the field events, Mitchell Doss (Gretna, Va./Gretna) recorded a mark of 12.11m in the shot put while Christopher Greene (Fredericksburg, Va./Chancellor) posted a length of 6.12m in the long jump and Devon Davis (Galax, Va./Galax) cleared a height of 1.75m in the high jump. 

Kenny Kinton (Powhatan, Va./Powhatan) had the lone performance on the track as the first-year distance runner completed the mile run in 5:31.70.

The WildCats will return to action next week when they compete at the UCS Invite in Winston-Salem, N.C. which will be held from Friday-Saturday, Feb. 16-17.
