Men’s Tennis Falls to Lynchburg, 8-1

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Randolph College men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) rival Lynchburg College on Wednesday afternoon.

The lone win for the WildCats came at No. 1 doubles where the duo of Bradley Strober (Stockton, N.J./Hunterdon Central) and Joe Kaneda (Media, Pa./Penncrest) downed their opponents, 8-2.

In singles play, Strober fell at No. 1, 6-0, 6-2, while Kaneda dropped the No. 2 spot with a score of 6-1, 6-0. John Coffron (Front Royal, Va./Warren County) fell at No. 3, 6-0, 6-0 while Ben Roberts (Davidson, N.C./Davidson Day) and Minh Hoang (Lynchburg, Va./Niagra Catholic) each fell, 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots, respectively.

Randolph drops to 2-9, 1-6 ODAC and will return to the court on Saturday, April 14 when it hosts Randolph-Macon College at 1 p.m.
