Men’s Tennis Falls to Southern Virginia

BUENA VISTA, Va.- The Randolph men's tennis team had its first dual match of the season on Wednesday afternoon. The WildCats were defeated by Southern Virginia 9-0.

The closest match in doubles came in the first flight. The pair of Bradley Strober (Stockton, N.J./Hunterdon Central) and Daniel Crutcher (Newton, N.C./Maiden) were edged out by Thomas John Snelson and Tanner O'Brien 8-6.

In singles, both Crutcher and Joe Kaneda (Media, Pa./Penncrest) fell by identical scores at second and third singles, respectively. Both posted 6-3, 6-1 defeats.

The men finish their fall campaign on Saturday with a match against Catholic. Start time is at 1:00 p.m.
