GREENSBORO, N.C.- The final day of the 2018 ODAC Swimming Championships was held on Sunday. The Randolph men finished in fifth overall out of 10 schools that competed.
New schools records were set in the evening sessions. The best finish came from Oscar Onoszko (Clover, S.C.) who placed fourth in the 200 breast in a program record 2:13.37. Andrew Scales (Tega Cay, S.C./Fort Mill) had another top 10 time with a 2:13.14 result in the 200 fly to set a record.
Kieran Saienni touched the wall in 2:13.74 in the 200 back for a Randolph record. Jeffrey Oliveri's (Ellicott City, Md.) 48.81 time in the 100 free was also a new record. Daniel Bennett-Blake (College Park, Ga.) posted a 49.56 time in the preliminaries for a new personal best. In a 500 free time trial, Adriano De Angelis (Miami, Fla./Hargrave Military Academy) had a personal best mark of 5:52.17.
One relay team was able to set a new record. The 400 free relay squad of Bennett-Blake, Oliveri, Scales, and Onoszko finished in 3:16.93.
