On Thursday, the 2019 Randolph men's soccer schedule was released. The WildCats will play of total of 17 games with nine dates on the road and eight contests at home.
Randolph starts its season with three straight road games against a trio of teams that were a combined 43-13-2 a season ago. The 'Cats travel to Maryville, Tennessee on August 30 to face the defending USA South Champion and NCAA Tournament participant Scots. A matchup with the Scots of Covenant College, a USA South Tournament Finalist last year, follow the next day. Five days later, the WildCats go to Greensboro for a match with the Pride, a 15-3 squad in 2018.
The home opener will be September 7 against Averett. Regent University comes to WildCat Stadium on September 11.
The ODAC opener is September 28 against Shenandoah. The game marks a homecoming for Hornet head coach and former WildCat Zach McDougall who played for the 'Cats from 2007-2010 and was an assistant coach from 2012-2017.
A cross-state trip to Virginia Wesleyan follows for the first match in October on the 3rd. Defending ODAC champion Washington and Lee comes to WildCat Stadium on October 9.
Back-to-back road contests at Emory and Henry and Roanoke come on October 12 and 16. Two straight home battles follow against EMU and Bridgewater. The 2019 campaign comes to a close on October 29 at Hampden-Sydney.
