LYNCHBURG, Va.- Head Men's Soccer Coach Adam Godwin today has announced the program's coaching staff for the 2018 season. Godwin brings on board four staff members who encompass experience at the MLS and NCAA level along with a wealth of WildCat experience.

Sam McGarrity returns for his 5th season on the WildCat staff following a stellar playing career at Randolph. "I couldn't be more excited that Sam agreed to stay on staff," said Godwin. "He is first and foremost an outstanding guy but add into that his knowledge of the game and passion for this college and program and it's easy to see why I am so excited to have Sam with us."

Another name familiar to the WildCats is Grant Collier who joins the staff following an outstanding career in the midfield for Randolph. "When I first spoke to Grant, his love of the program and desire to help in any way he could was evident, and it made it very easy for me to add him to our staff," stated Godwin. "His knowledge of the program and the conference will help us tremendously and he'll be an important link between our staff and our student-athletes."

Bringing with him several years of NCAA Division I coaching experience at Liberty University and a stint at MLS franchise Sporting KC, Mark Bowman comes aboard as Goalkeeper Coach & Head of Performance Analytics. "Mark is another outstanding guy who leads himself and his family really well," noted Godwin. "He is a young, forward thinking coach who brings a really unique skill set to our program. He is passionate about the game and profession of coaching and I truly believe his background in Performance Analytics will help to provide a competitive edge to our program and student-athletes."

Finally, former Liberty University defender Greg White comes on as an assistant coach. "Greg was a guy I identified early in the process as someone I'd love to work with," said Godwin. "He is an outstanding leader who I have had tremendous respect for over the years. His knowledge of the game and ability to make those around him better will be a huge asset for our program and student-athletes."

Commenting on his coaching staff, Godwin went on to say: "I don't think we could have put together a better staff than this. Above all, these are outstanding men who will provide our student-athletes with great role models off the field. On the field, they will help us move towards our goal of becoming a top-25 program which competes for a national championship."
