FOREST, Va.- On Thursday, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced its All-Conference Team for men's soccer. Three members from Randolph were selected. They were junior Adam Watson (Richmond, Va./Midlothian) (First Team), and seniors Cristian Irigoyen (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Academy) (Third Team), and Nate Juth (Leesburg, Va./Loudon County) (Third Team).
This is Watson's second All-Conference Selection after being named to the Second Team in 2016. This season, Watson enjoyed a career year with nine goals scored and three assists for a total of 21 points. His nine scores are currently tied for the most in the ODAC and his 21 points are tied for second. Watson scored three game winners on the year with two straight coming in 1-0 victories over Emory and York. He was named the ODAC Player of the Week on October 30 after tallying an assist in a playoff clinching win at Guilford and netting two goals in Randolph's 2-1 victory at Roanoke in the ODAC quarterfinals.
For Irigoyen, it is his third All-ODAC selection as he picked up First Team honors in 2015 and was selected to the Second Team in 2016. He started 15 of 16 games for the WildCats this year and tallied two goals and two assists for six points.
It is Juth's first All-Conference honor. He started 18 of 19 contests for the 'Cats in 2017.
Randolph finished with a 10-9 record on the season and was 4-5 in the ODAC. The WIldCats qualified for the ODAC Tournament for the 10th straight season.
