FOREST, Va. – Senior midfielder Prince Charles (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) from the Randolph College men's lacrosse team was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's lacrosse player of the week, as announced Monday by the conference office.
The honor marks Randolph's first men's lacrosse player of the week in four years.
Charles racked up seven points off four goals and three assists, as well as totaled 17 ground balls to help Randolph go 1-1 on the week. The senior contributed two goals and two assists in the 9-7 win over SUNY Delhi in addition to scooping up six ground balls and winning 9-of-12 face-offs.
In the 11-7 loss to Methodist University on Saturday, Charles added two goals for the WildCats to go along with one assist while picking up 11 ground balls, causing two turnovers, winning 11-of-15 face-offs and firing off 11 shots with six on target.
The WildCats will return to action on Wednesday, March 13 when they host St. Mary's (Md.) at 7 p.m. at WildCat Stadium.
