2018 All-ODAC Third Team
2019: Ranks first all-time with 364 career ground balls and face off win-loss percentage (0.568)...stands sixth all-time with 55 caused turnovers...picked up 130 ground balls on the season to stand first in the single-season record books as well as first on the team and second in the ODAC...also ranks first on the team with 17 caused turnovers...appeared and started in all 17 games for Randolph...posted 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points, which stands third on the team...won 164 face-offs for the WildCats...had six games where he recorded 10 or more ground balls...tallied a season-high 13 ground balls at William Peace on Feb. 24...notched two goals on four different occasions...caused three turnovers at Washington and Lee on April 24.
2018: Named to the All-ODAC Third Team...picked up a total of 118 ground balls to lead the team and tie for first in ODAC standings...appeared and started in all 17 games for the WildCats...tied for first on the team with 19 goals while his 12 caused turnovers place him second in the team standings...ranks third on the team with 26 points...was the main faceoff man for Randolph and won 142 attempts, which stands fifth in the league...scooped up a season-high 16 ground balls and won 17 of 18 faceoff attempts at Greensboro on April 8...scored three goals against Virginia Wesleyan on March 17 before repeating his success at Bridgewater on April 28.
2017: Took over two important roles as a sophomore…became the top option at the ‘X’ and the top defensive middie on the team…started 15 games on the year, while playing all of them…proved to be one of the best faceoff men in the ODAC…won 136 attempts, which was sixth in the league…had third highest win percentage in single season in program history…picked up 90 ground balls which was second in school history and third in the conference…was outstanding as a d-middie, causing 13 turnovers…added a goal and three assists on the year, assisting on two goals against Greensboro…will look to add even more to his arsenal as a sophomore.
2016: The athletic and strong midfielder made an immediate impact in several areas of the field…played in all but one game on the season, starting eight of them as the faceoff man…won 18 faceoffs in his first year, but that was not his primary role…one of the best short-stick defensive middies in the conference…routinely placed on an island and did a great job guarding his opponents…forced 13 turnovers on the year and scooped up 26 ground balls…will look to cement himself as one of the best d-middies and improve offensively in his second season.
Previous: Spent four years on the Cape Henry Collegiate lacrosse team…started for the Dolphins for one season…helped the Dolphins finish as Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools runner-up.
Personal: Son of Aubrey Thomas…has one younger brother…also wrestled and played soccer in high school…helped the Dolphins win several TCIS titles…was a National Prep Tournament qualifier…also a member of the indoor track and field team at Randolph...minoring in biology.
